You will assume responsibility for the leadership of the Nursing Department during non-business hours.  You will facilitate management of staffing and patient flow functions to assure safe and appropriate patient placement. What qualifications you will need:Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse, required.Current Basic Life Support(BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. and American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR, requiredNIH Stroke Survey Certification course within 90 daysCurrent Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS)within90 daysSuccessful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam, preferred.2 years' experience, requiredBachelor's degree in Nursing, requiredPrevious supervisory experience preferred.Required Knowledge and SkillsAbility to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including, but not limited to, administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers and providing education to patients and/or significant othersAbility to multi-task, delegate, and prioritizePossess problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to collaborate with other health care providersAbility to educate patients and/or significant othersAbility to communicate effectivelyPossess personal computer skills For more than 100 years, Wesley Healthcare has provided exceptional care to thousands of families in Wichita and throughout Kansas and Northern Oklahoma.
