The Surgical 3B unit has 32 patient beds, with a nurse to patient ratio of 1-6 on days and nights. This unit is a fast-paced medical surgical telemetry floor which focuses on pre- and post-surgical patients, with a focus on GI, Urology and ENT surgeries. The Surgical 3B unit offers the opportunity to learn and perfect critical nursing skills such as:Head to toe assessmentsTelemetry monitoring NG tubesIV insertions CBI's Chest tubes, Trach and ostomy careDrainsWound CareAvailable positions are as follows:Full-time AvailabilityPart-time Availability Day Shift (7am-7pm)Night Shift (7pm-7am) Weekend Option (Friday-Sunday) - Eligible for up to $10.00/hour weekend option pay!Qualifications:Education: Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program.Licensure: Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit.Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period.For additional questions, please email Allison Larsen at Allison.Larsen@
