Your Role Will Involve Estimating project costs by analyzing cost factors, preparing bids, evaluating vendors/subcontractors for cost efficiency, and managing take-offs and quantity surveys in line with company standards. Participating in pre-bid meetings and conducting site visits as necessary. Coordinating bid-day activities meticulously to maximize our success chances in tender submissions. Ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of scope letters, bid forms, and other bid documentation. Issuing RFIs when needed before bids, directing them to the pertinent parties. Engaging in Pre-Construction meetings with the estimating team to set departmental targets and objectives. Reviewing peers' bids and utilizing completed project cost data to refine estimating practices and procedures. What You Bring to the Table Over 7 years of relevant experience in electrical estimating Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with Bluebeam, , MS Project, or similar Construction Management software Skilled in using Accubid or comparable Construction Estimating software A track record of accurately estimating projects ranging from $50k to over $10 million Preferable Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Trimble Spectrum experience Electrical Journeyman certification CPE (Certified Professional Electrical Estimator) certification
