Stars and Stripes Athletics is looking for some Gymnastics Instructors to join our team! Who we are: We are an established gymnastics facility with a 21-year history, dedicated to providing high-quality gymnastics training using the Xcel Gymnastics program. Our facility is well-maintained, equipped with the latest gear, and boasts a structured and positive work environment. Currently, we have a team of about 30 employees, with a focus on maintaining a team-oriented and supportive culture. As the go-to, quality Athletics gym in town, we cater to a high caliber of clientele, and are continually expanding our programs to meet their evolving interests. What we need: We are currently seeking 1-2 part-time, Competitive Gymnastics Coaches to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about gymnastics, eager to learn, and dedicated to the growth and development of young athletes. The successful candidates will work closely with our competitive gymnastics program, coaching children ranging from 5 years old to advanced high school levels. Responsibilities: - Coach 8-12 kids in each session, with a maximum of 100 kids under coaching per season. - Conduct large group training sessions within the Xcel Gymnastics program. - Work collaboratively with other coaches to create a positive and motivating training environment. - Adhere to established rules and guidelines for parents. - Be prepared to travel for weekend events, approximately 7 weekends per year, with expenses covered. Qualifications: -Competitive gymnastics experience is preferred; coaching background is not mandatory. -Familiarity with the Xcel Gymnastics program is advantageous. -Demonstrated ability to work well with others, excellent communication skills, and a hardworking attitude. -Teachable and open to aligning coaching techniques with the established gym culture. Ideal Candidate: -Willingness to work evenings is critical!
