HUON Engineer As a HUON Engineer, you will be an important member of our insurance product team, responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and supporting the organization's insurance business. The team has exciting years ahead of them as we transform our insurance application to a cloud-based application and modernize the technology across the board. What You'll Do You will be making system updates to the HUON application. You may be required to assist with the conversion of Insurance business from HUON to Guidewire. You will be needed to help refine system change requirements, attend design sessions, present ideas to groups of people with diverse roles and skill levels, and exchange ideas with your team members. You are required to provide application production environment support on a rotational schedule during the day and night. What You'll Need To be successful in this job, you must have experience with the HUON insurance application, its business management tables, and the skill and aptitude to troubleshoot issues with HUON. Bring your experience with COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, ISPW and other mainframe application development skills. Our team is interested in your experience and eager to learn from you. You may be able to work in a hybrid work environment of three days in the office, two days at home. The days are scheduled in advance and change every quarter. You have worked previously with an Agile team or understand these concepts. You expect to participate in daily standup meetings, you'll complete your projects or stories during our sprints, and you're ready to meet frequent deployment deadlines.
