This Large Group Commercial Sales Professional develops, manage, and enhance relationships within MVP's broker distribution channel to support commercial growth within target markets and products. Attends appropriate business functions to promote MVP and establish contacts in assigned communities. Responsible for achieving assigned new business sales goals by writing new large group cases through brokers, consultants, and direct sales activity. Analyzes and assesses existing competitor employer programs and implications relative to an MVP offering. Provides in-depth proposals and presentations to identified prospective employers to increase membership within MVP Health Care product offerings. Develops and maintains a working knowledge of MVP operations, contract benefits, and enrollment requirements. Responsible for complete and accurate paperwork done in a timely fashion and maintenance of accurate prospect files. Performs other duties as assigned. Hybrid to Fishkill, NY or Schenectady, NY (in office two times per week) Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: BA/BS in business, marketing, or related field preferred or equivalent amount of education and related experience required. Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years in recent business to business sales or account management. Insurance setting preferred. Required Skills: Must possess, or obtain within 60 days from date of hire all required licensure and certification (NYS Life, Accident, Health) Must obtain the MVP Medicare Certification Training within 60 days from date of hire, or prior to first sale, whichever comes first. Personal drive to exceed quota and represent MVP with enthusiasm. Demonstrated channel sales and or C-suite selling skillset. Ability to translate features and benefits into customer focused solutions. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Ability to always maintain ethical and professional behavior and appearance. Ability to multi-task and work independently with excellent organizational skills. Ability to self-educate and support a desire to gain knowledge related to the healthcare industry. Computer skills including strong working knowledge of CRMs, and Microsoft Office application - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Valid drivers' license and access to a vehicle.
