Job Description:

The Act Two Program at Universal Destinations & Experiences is a 4-month paid role for experienced professionals returning to the workforce after taking time off for personal reasons such as caregiving. The program is open to individuals with at least 5+ years of professional experience and have been out of the paid workforce (in an office/corporate environment) for at least 2 years to focus on caring for a child or another dependent. JOB SUMMARY: Provide daily financial support to specified projects including cost tracking, vendor payment management, monthly financial reporting, forecasting and general financial support. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete monthly project cost reporting for project and distribute to management. Work with project managers to update project EFC's and communicate all project issues via monthly report. Present to Finance and project senior leadership. Month-end close requirements, including preparing monthly project status and accrual reports, prepare and post payroll allocations and charge-outs and coordinate contract and purchase order receipts/accruals. Provide cash flow and earned value forecasting periodically and be able to articulate variance explanations in addition to risk / opportunities. Direct and supervise the overall applicable financial function. Manage staff by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, and performance management. Distribute, review, audit and process invoices/payment applications related to project. Research vendor payment issues and make recommendations for resolution. Have direct conversations with vendors as needed while representing Universal Creative. Document applicable policies and procedures. Perform audits where required to validate compliance to P&Ps. Evaluate and Implement cost efficient performance methods. Perform contract maintenance including but not limited to: tracking general contractor "notice to owners" liens and lien waivers; coordinate contract close-outs; attend contract status meetings; and verify contract execution and payment releases. Assist in the vendor bid and award process including cost comparison and bid review meetings. Understand and manage applicable foreign exchange and tax liabilities; work with partner departments such as Tax and Treasury to support strategic planning. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: Associate's degree (AA) or Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree is preferred. EXPERIENCE: 5+ years' experience. 1+ years Supervisory preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
