Responsibilities The Cardiovascular Clinical Coordinator (CCC)is responsible for serving as the coordinator in the Cardiovascular Catherization Lab overseeing daily operations and scheduling of the cardiac catherization lab, electrophysiology lab, interventional radiology lab to ensure maximal efficiency of areas and personnel, coordination of resources and working closely with the manager and director regarding operational issues. Serves as a role model who consistently promotes a positive environment that encourages proactive communication, problem solving, effective time management, and accountability for standards, teamwork and excellent customer service.   The incumbent monitors and oversees daily work activities and performance improvement initiatives, ensures compliance with DNV and environment of care standards, departmental policies and procedures and intervenes and documents, when indicated. The incumbent oversees staff competencies, orientation, education, and cross training in coordination with the clinical educator, manager, and director. CCC performs performance review process, interviews, hires, and performs disciplinary action of all staff, when indicated. CCC coordinates the daily schedule and approves time off and the monthly call schedule. The incumbent serves as a resource for all staff. Qualifications Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field. BLS, ACLS. Must have RCIS within the first year in role. Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience Must Possess an ARRT, RCIS or RCES Certification Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred
