OVERVIEW OF THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST ROLE:Process the transmittal of a semi-monthly payrollPayroll Specialist ensures compliance with payroll regulationsProcess adjustments related to taxes, benefit payments, and fringe benefitsPayroll Specialist assists supervisors with Kronos timekeeping systemDocument internal controls and maintain a procedure manual/documentation for all payroll proceduresPayroll Specialist reviews and solves complex issues as they occurAssist in reconciliation of payroll general ledger and benefit accounts with vendor invoicesSubmit tax and payroll related invoices for paymentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST ROLE:Two years in a payroll environmentKronos workforce payroll and timekeeping experienceADP experience preferredStrong communication, math and technology skillsThe ability to handle multiple tasks and projectsCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus!Great Plains system knowledge is also a plus#CBNOV2023 #cfstaffing #payroll
