PURPOSE OF THIS POSITIONThe IT Project Coordinator works with the Leadership Team and Project Management Office to obtain the necessary resources to support the project and manage change required to achieve project objectives, maintain budget and realize benefits.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESDuty 1: Manage departmental projects that impact technology; this includes work plans, resource management, project deliverables including project measurement post go live and communication plansDuty 2:Creates and manages projects through all gateways while ensuring all project elements are deliveredDuty 3:Delivers a clear communication plan to all Stakeholders, Business Owners and Team Members; including but not limited to decision, risks, scope creep and deliverablesDuty 4: Monitors overall project progress, including timeline, resources, risks and decisions, etcDuty 5:Works collaboratively with performance improvement and IT analysts through all phases of the projectREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSAssociate's degree in Information Technology, healthcare or related field.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to focus detailed concentrated effort to multiple projects and re-establish priorities as necessary. Ability to effectively respond to time sensitive issues and meet deadlines. Proficient in desktop applications, including MS Office (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and) and database management applications. Ability to adapt to changing technologies, regulations and healthcare practices. Ability to work well in a team, build relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organization and manage risks effectively.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A valid drivers license is required (if you do not have a valid Ohio driver's license you must obtain one within 30 days of your residency in the state).  You must also meet BVHSs company fleet policy and insurance company requirements, and any other requirements that may be required to operate a vehicle.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPMP, CAPM, or similar professional certificationPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe individual must have excellent verbal communication skills to perform daily tasks. The associate must have corrected vision and hearing in the normal range.
