Position Responsibilities:Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by the Supervisor or ManagerIdentify and communicate potential problem areas during engagementsConduct business specific research-gather and analyze data, interpret results, compile reports and make recommendationsDevelop effective client relationships through professionalism and follow-throughOther duties and projects as assignedSkills and Abilities:Exhibit a strong understanding of accounting and tax rulesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPerform work accurately and in a time efficient manner, with strong attention to detailStrong organizational and follow-through skillsAbility to accept constructive feedback and adjust as directedAbility to work collaboratively and foster a productive, team-oriented environmentStrong computer skills, including solid skill in the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel) and report writing toolsMaintain a professional demeanor with co-workers and clientsAble to contribute ideas and add value to designated teamEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree in accounting (Required)CPA certification or evidence of working towards certification2-3 years of experience in public accountingBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
