Job Description:

Overall **Responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring trade contractor construction activities. May involve on site management of one or more construction disciplines (Electrical, Communications, Electronic Safety and Security etc.).Essential *Monitor construction schedules, cost estimates, and monthly construction progress reports.Contribute in developing technical solutions to constructability or construction issues.Attend periodic progress meetings.Prepare daily field reports summarizing progress of construction and measuring payment quantities.Prepare test reports, including accident reports, etc.Communicate with team members on ongoing construction related issues.Compare approved shop drawings with materials being delivered and installed as part of the work.Review Contractor proposed modifications with team members.Help resolve construction related conflicts.Review work is being performed in compliance with the contract documents.Issue deficiency reports for any defective work.Perform walkthrough inspections and prepare punch list for any remaining work.Secondary *Exercise independent judgment and evaluation.Professional demeanor.Ability to communicate with team members on task and projects.Needed *Strong Professional, Technical, Communication, and Leadership skills needed.Strong written and verbal communications skills.Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.Education/Experience *Minimum of eight years construction management and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction.Preferred ** airport terminal buildings, airport terminal facilities and systems at a medium and/or large air carrier airport.OSHA 30-hour training
