To this end, Honda strives to realize "the joy and freedom of mobility" by developing new technologies and an innovative approach to achieve a "zero environmental footprint."We are looking for qualified individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, continuous improvement values, and a strong work ethic to join our team.If your goals and values align with Honda's, we want you to join our team to Bring the Future!About this Position:Site Delivery Frame Business Administrative staff manages mass production part ordering and delivery through effective planning, communication, and supplier interface.  Apply technical and problem-solving skills to prevent impact to operations and support achievement of department targets.Responsibilities include:Manage assigned suppliers - daily ordering, receiving confirmation, performance management, project and improvement activities.Establish and maintain communication networks with supply base to promote positive relationship focused on delivery performanceIdentify, evaluate, and escalate critical issues to management to ensure appropriate allocation of resources in a timely manger.  Coordinate and manage expedited shipments as requiredContinually develop communication networks, both external and internal, to ensure operational success and department awareness.Collaborate with departments project leaders to support to support all specified mass production (site delivery frame) department projects to meet key performance indicators (KPI) targetsCollaboration with other departments/experts for development or improvement of characteristics to reduce impact to departmentsUnderstand and manage New Model and Mass Production design change activity to ensure quality and minimize production impact and costMaintain reporting and Gemba activity for root cause analysis/countermeasure implementation to solve complex problemsStrive for continuous improvement through cycling Plan Do Check Action (PDCA) for area of responsibility to ensure associate success.Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, mentoring, and sharing of experiences in the area of technical expertise and understanding for succession planning and team growth.Support company vision through business plan execution, special projects, and other department initiatives in areas of knowledge and technical expertise.Who we are seeking: Required Work Experience:4 years experience if no degree in related fieldRequired Education:Bachelor's Degree in Supply chain Management, Business or equivalent relative experienceDesired skills:Knowledge of basic inventory management and manufacturing workflowStrong Communication and interpersonal skillsStrong Organizational SkillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work with limited directionAbility to troubleshoot complex problems in a team-based work environment Consistently identify opportunities for continuous improvementCollect data and apply business knowledge to solve a range of problemsEffectively lead project themesEffectively Sell ideas, securing Buy-in from individuals or teamProficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and OutlookAdditional Position Factors:Must be able to work overtime approximately 5-10 hours per week as requiredWork in a fast-paced environment with demanding and critical deadlinesTraveling between plant/divisions or to suppliers to support business needs or special assignments, sometimes on short noticeMust be able to work weekends and/or shift change from 1st to 2nd shift to help provide support during peak times of year or as neededAt Honda, you will play a key role in our journey to become a company that society wants to exist now, and in the future.
