Maintenance Technician - 1st shift (Bedford Park, IL) Position ***** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a production facility. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems onsite. This is a multi-craft maintenance role where youll have the opportunity to work on a variety of equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime. Key ***** Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.Utilize basic computer skills for entering maintenance tasks and keeping up with preventative maintenance schedules.Address both mechanical and electrical maintenance issues, with a focus on mechanical tasks comprising approximately 70% of the workload.Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, motors, and troubleshooting electrical issues up to 480v, with a basic understanding of PLC troubleshooting. Strongly ***** 3-5+ years of relevant experience.Experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems.Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues up to 480v and basic PLC troubleshooting. Nice to ***** Experience in the coating or paint industry.Prior experience with preventative maintenance.Familiarity with cutting equipment, welders, robots, coating/painting machinery, or packaging machinery. Candidate ***** Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and examples of past projects.Electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with up to 480v and PLCs.Previous work with industrial machinery or equipment and industry experience.Background in relevant industries.
