Responsibilities What will you do?•       Prepare thoughtfully for teaching, following approved lesson plans.•       Foster an engaging and positive learning environment.•       Support student success with timely feedback and guidance.•       Embrace technology and utilize our online platform effectively.•       Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional quality.•       Make a difference by identifying and aiding struggling students.•       80% of work week will consist of student facing and instruction. Qualifications What will you need?Must hold an active and unencumbered VN or RN license to practice nursing in the state of employment       Must have an active RN license to teach all courses       Must have an active VN license to teach clinical term 1 classes only.Minimum of 3 years of practical nursing experienceMinimum of an Associates degree in nursing is required; Bachelors strongly preferred.        Bachelors degree in nursing is required to teach all theory and clinical courses.        Associates degree can teach clinical term 1 courses only.Must be actively employed in nursing 2 of the last 3 years.If candidate has not been actively employed in nursing in the past 3 years, then advanced preparation in nursing, nursing education, nursing administration and prior relevant nursing employment may be taken into consideration in evaluating the qualifications for the position.Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.Must meet approval of Board of Nursing.Previous experience teaching nursing students preferred.Join the Mission: At Concorde youre a partner in shaping healthcares future.
