Job Description:The Role The Senior Defined Benefit Data Analyst will support the business by working on highly complex Defined Benefit data consulting projects, demonstrating their analytical strengths and skills. We are looking for someone to join our great team of experts, who enjoy a fast-paced environment, and can provide quality work and an outstanding client/customer experience.The analyst leverages various service category databases, data warehouses, and other technical applications (i.e. Informatica, Snap Logic, SQL, Access, Snowflake, Excel) to identify, analyze and propose solutions to clean the data required to provide accurate administration of Defined Benefits.The ideal candidate likes a challenge and is looking for direct client impacting, rewarding work. We are a fast-growing business within Fidelity, providing a broad range of services that touch on every area of benefits design, strategy, funding, communication, and delivery. While we focus on working with the Fortune 1000, we also work with Fidelity clients of all sizes.Data Consulting engages in data quality improvement efforts that span single and multiple product lines (i.e. Health and Welfare, Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, Stock Plan Services and HR/Payroll) within the implementation and ongoing servicing client lifecycle.The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelors degree or equivalent years of experience4+ Years of Defined Benefit/Pension Administration experience2+ years writing SQL preferredExperience using Excel formulas for quick data analysis and data comparisonsAbility to translate technical client specifications into data analysis deliverablesStrong data analysis skillsExperience querying large data sets with optimized SQL codeKnowledge of Fidelity s backend product tables (DBR1, WIDE, Snowflake, etc.) a plusAbility to prioritize fast paced workExperience in a consulting role a plusETL Experience a plusThe Value You DeliverHigh Quality data analysis with an attention to detail and clear communicationsOwnership of your delivery with minimal directionOn time delivery of time sensitive project workCollaboration with teammates to ensure handoffs are made effectivelyRecommendations of ways to streamline and/or enhance data analysis processesUnit tested deliverablesInterest and curiosity in your work that translates to thoughtful questions and engaging discussions leading to positive client experiencesThe base salary range for this position is $63,000-$100,000 per year. /u00A0Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate s relevant experience, and other factors.Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
