The Advanced Analytics Solutions Specialist will develop productive relationships with new and existing clients while ensuring consistent pipeline development and closed business opportunities in their territory. To be successful as a Solutions Specialist at Converge, you should be a self-starter with hunting ambition and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You should have experience in developing sales leads from initial contact to successful closure to contribute to business growth. At the end of the day, you are helping your clients leverage their essential data by providing best of breed Analytics products & services. Our ideal candidate comes from a Technology Value Added Reseller (VAR) and/or Analytics professional services/systems integrator firm.Key ResponsibilitiesHunt for new opportunities by utilizing existing relationships, cold reach-out, industry events, etc.Build trusted advisor relationships with new clientsCollaborate with Converge Account Executives to support the identification and growth of data and analytics opportunities with existing Converge clientsIdentify and understand clients data and analytics initiatives and how Converge can support themDevelop, prepare, and deliver sales proposals, presentations, and quotes for Analytics products & servicesWork with the internal partnerships team to deliver OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) product proposals, close data and analytics product business (***** IBM, Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)Build, negotiate and sell complex service dealsDocument all client activities within Converges CRM (Customer Relationship Management)QualificationsExperience in technology sales and / or technical services sales is"¯required Experience selling into mid-large enterprises is"¯required Proven track record of successful sellingHigh energy paired with a hunting mentality and competitive spiritAbility to learn data and analytics service and product offerings quicklyEstablished in the channel with Analytics vendors like IBM, Microsoft, Snowflake, Databricks, Alteryx, etc.Strong business acumen and professionalism; accountability and self-starter qualities are a mustWork EnvironmentRemote with travel to clients as neededConverge Technology Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
