Under the general direction of the Assistant Fiscal Officer III, the School District Financial Services Director assists school district business employees in completing state reports and performs business management responsibilities for districts contracting for this service.**The full annual salary range is $118,733.39 - $144,457.21.Offers are made at the entry level of the range.This position will be full-time and will serve Clark County school districts.A complete application will **Work history going back 10 years (if applicable)At least three professional references contact informationA Cover Letter expressing interest in the positionA Resume that reflects work experience listed on applicationEvidence of a Bachelors degree unofficial transcripts or copy of diploma)First review of applications April 5, 2024Essential *Manages comprehensive fiscal services for school districts assigned, which may include but are not limited ** accounting, budgeting, projections, purchasing, fiscal coordination, payroll, and grants.Prepares monthly budget status and financial reports for the superintendent and school board.Develops, implements, and monitors annual budgets for assigned school districts.Manages financial reporting for the district.Audits liaison for all district financial audits and monitors compliance requirements for the district.Prepares and gives group training sessions as needed.Other **Other duties as assigned.Minimum *Bachelors degree in business, accounting or a related field.Five years of experience in a local school district, business office or similar experience in a governmental agency working in the area of accounting or state financial reporting.Supervisory experience.Recent experience in working with automated accounting systems.Recent experience in electronic spreadsheets.Preferred *Successful experience as a school district business administratorSuccessful experience with the WSIPC fiscal system.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.Ability to work within a team concept.Organizational skills and commitment to follow through on tasks with minimum supervision.Ability to communication in a professional manner both orally and in writing.Working *Required to travel.May be required to work extended or flexible hours.Employment ****Successful completion of a criminal records and fingerprint background check.Educational Service District 112 is an Equal Opportunity Employer J-18808-Ljbffr
