Humble and willing to help others.Originality: Will bring your unique perspective to the table and respect a diverse set of views and backgrounds.The "Fine Print" - What You'll DoLead and/or assist in the negotiation and drafting of a variety of contracts of contracts, including but not limited to confidentiality agreements, licensing agreements, collaboration agreements, vendor contracts, and professional services agreements.Conduct thorough risk assessments on proposed contracts, identifying potential legal and business risks, and providing strategic guidance to mitigate those risks.Manage contracts database.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to understand business objectives and align contract terms accordingly.Stay up to date on relevant laws and regulations in the biotech industry and ensure that all contracts adhere to legal and compliance standards.Skills and Experience We Look ForJD degree from an accredited law school and membership in at least one U.S. state bar.Minimum of 3 years' experience in contract negotiation, drafting and management, with some experience in biotech, pharma, or healthcare.Strong understanding of legal principles and contract law.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Familiarity with biotech industry practices and trends is a plus.Highly experienced non-attorney Contract Managers with a minimum of 5-7 years of contracts management experience may be considered (and the role will be tailored appropriately).Rewards at ArcellxOur people are our greatest asset, and supporting their well-being is an essential part of delivering on our mission and impacting the lives of patients.
