They also oversee aluminum can manufacturing, barley fields, hop farms and a rice mill. Life in supply is non-stop action with high-speed lines, tight production schedules and unbelievably high quality standards. Here's more on what the Process Engineer out of our Newark, NJ location will be doing: + Lead efforts to support improvement in safety and quality performance. + Support plant operations by maintaining process control systems + Provide training and sophisticated troubleshooting to the site. + Implement standards at the site that ensure global consistency of manufacturing systems. + Establish and maintain close relationships with: Plant operations team, Plant quality team, and the CAPEX Engineering Team + Own the implementation of process improvement and/or innovations-based projects. + Utilize problem solving/6 Sigma lean manufacturing to achieve both financial / operational performance targets. + Support CAPEX Engineers for viability and cost return projects + Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays to support the brewery operations and project executionJob Qualifications+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree + Shown experience as Systems Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, + Experience in Industrial Automation using Rockwell / Siemens/ B&R Automation PLC’s or equivalent. + Knowledge of Industrial Network Communication protocols (Ethernet, DeviceNet) + Ability to read electrical and mechanical system drawings. + Sophisticated troubleshooting skills with high-speed manufacturing equipment such as AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and PLC I/O modules. + Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation; technical, analytical, and problem solving skills. + Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems.Preferred Qualifications+ Experience with Rockwell FTView Industrial Automation software or an equivalent software. + Mechanical troubleshooting experience in high speed packaging and/or highly automated continuous process environment preferred. + Experience in systems configuration and maintenance. + Basic knowledge of SAP + Experience with coaching and training skilled trades in a unionized environmentBenefits and Work Perks:We offer generous benefit plan options that can be tailored for your unique needs and wellbeing.
