With this talent in place, we’ve significantly changed our approach to design of manufacturing, product testing, reliability testing, and quality systems to exceed today’s SSL standards Posting Address Hubbell Incorporated 701 Millennium Boulevard Greenville, SC 29607 Position Overview The Technical Services Manager - Controls role is the primary technical resource for Hubbell Control Solution brand. The Technical Services Manager - Controls will work closely with Hubbell Lighting's business units, field sales force, agent partners and customers and is responsible for actively driving and managing the technical support and Field Service function in the sales process. This role is focused on working in conjunction with the HCS sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate. Duties and Responsibilities + Manage the HCS technical support team with both remote support and technical support 800#. + Manage the Field Service business for Hubbell Control Solutions consisting of scheduling, internal Field Service Engineers and 3rd party contractors. + Listen, understand and convey customer requirements. + Assist in the design and development of new products and tools - particularly from a customer/field service perspective to help avoid problems that may occur. + Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases. + Understanding of Data Analytics. + Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives. + Expand offerings in service and support to serve customers and promote growth. Skills and Experience + Management experience in support services is a plus + Management experience in personnel direct reports + Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, PowerBI) + Strong communication skills – verbal (phone and personal contact) and written + Strong organizational skill + 4 year Business and/or Technical degree and/or 5+ years of experience working in a technical services field (building environmental systems preferred) Education Bachelors Degree in Engineering General or Business Hubbell Incorporated, its subsidiaries and affiliates, is an EO Employer AA: M/F/Veteran/Disability.
