Req Number003BRI Job Description Responsible for updating the CBORD menu management program with patient's diet information for all admissions and diet changes. Obtains the patient's daily menu selections via telephone using the CBORD Menu Management program. Inputs patient meal selections consistent with therapeutic diet orders, allergies and preferences.Responsibilities Include:+ Routinely cross checks Meditech census reports with CBORD Menu to ensure accuracy of information. + Updates CBORD with pertinent patient information specific to diet orders, allergies, snacks, supplements, tube feedings and preferences. + Generates production sheets for the Behavioral Rehab (BRU) Psych units. + Prints room service reports at assigned times. + Takes Room Service menu orders via the telephone system and provides support to patients regarding meal selections. + Maintains calorie counts to ensure MD/RD orders are being executed. + Provides Service Recovery when needed and may refer patient service and satisfaction issues to the Call Center Manager. + Provides age appropriate care to the patients served throughout the hospital. Assesses data reflective of the patients' status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age. + May assist with meal assembly and delivery as needed. + Performs related duties, as required. Qualifications + High School Diploma or equivalent, required. + One (1) year experience working in patient meal service, preferred. + Fluency in Spanish, preferred. + Knowledge of therapeutic diets, preferred. + Computer data entry experience, preferred.
