The Milestone AV-VC Event Support Technician will work closely with client's internal IT team, business partners and 3rd party vendors, to support all aspects of Events and Conference room technology in their San Francisco office. This position will also be responsible for the successful planning, production, and execution of Events in live presentations spaces.ResponsibilitiesHow You Make an Impact+ Perform daily conference room and presentation space checks, ensuring systems are ready + Participate in weekly production meetings discussing upcoming events and requirements + Providefirst line of defense against potential problems, escalate according to SLA + Follow all IT policies and SLA’s + Work with event stakeholders to ensure exact technology requirements for events,includingconsultation sessions to acquaint new users with the space + Execute planning and support for large 300+ person external events, Company All-hands meetings down to small (but equally important) team meetings + Operate the full suite of A/V production equipment (Yamaha Audio Mixers, Panasonic and Black Magic video mixers andLiveUvideo streaming, Zoom, Google Meet,etc) + Perform pre-event checks and post eventshutdown + Perform event support duties as needed + Provide end-user training and come up with custom solutions on the fly for events + Maintain inventory and storage space + Contribute to the growth of the organization by flagging potential operational issues and escalating them through the proper channelsQualificationsWhat You Will Need to Succeed+ 5 years relevant work experience in corporate live events, conference center operation, or hotel A/V support + Ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines + Ability to be quick on your feel and negotiate creative solutions quickly and with aplomb + Experience working in a fast-paced high growth environment + Experience with collaboration, workflow and helpdesk ticketing software (G-Suite, Asana, Zendesk) + Proven success in event and project coordination + Effective oral and written skills with attention to detail + Knowledge of event production and conferencing technology (Yamaha, Blackmagic ATEM, Panasonic,Ustream, Crestron, Symmetrix, Biamp, Dante, Chromebox for Meetings) + Ablilityto work independentlyandaspart of a production team + Working knowledge of A/V signal flow in both event technology and installed systems + Excellenttroubleshooting skills andabilityto utilize them under pressure + Ability to keep aflexible schedule to accommodate some night/weekend events As a full-time employee of Milestone Technologies, you will be eligible to receive medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, PTO, 401K and many other perks.
