Position Overview:This position should assist in the monitoring and maintenance at efficient, effective and accurate levels of operation of clerical, administrative, and fiscal functions of the department, whose client base includes patients of all ages. The incumbent monitors the overall operation of the inpatient and outpatient services guiding the job performance of the department staff on a day-to-day basis, assures adequate staffing, maintains proper orientation and training of employees , and maintains the skills to work on line as a pharmacist in the operational and clinical setting. The incumbent also coordinates maintenance of the drug dictionaries, reviews and monitors purchasing and inventory systems, and assists in fiscal and administrative functions and other responsibilities as required. Will also supervise, manage and coordinate pharmacy staff in the implementation support and evaluation of clinical pharmacy activities , whose client base includes patients of all ages.
