Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the SVP of Corporate Services, the Leasing and Development Manager is responsible for managing all leasing functions, which may include reviewing and negotiating lease transactions and agreements, managing all real estate broker relationships for the bank and managing and directing the daily activities of the Property Administration department in accordance with organization policies and standards. This individual will create, monitor, and submit various reports to Management. The Leasing and Development Manager is also responsible for recommending changes to policy/procuedre to enhance department functionality. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates resolution of facility matters between vendor, landlords and staff as it relates to both day to day operations and emergency events; Provides organizational oversight of vendor risk, lease obligations and Corporate Services administrative support.Prepares market studies to aid senior management in evaluating potential markets for future sites; Maintains weekly site construction status reports; Produces current LOI status reports and provide to management on a weekly basis.Prepares due diligence materials (site market studies, potential bank deposits and deposit growth) in connection with potential acquisitions; Analyzes potential real estate acquisitions for all asset classes in order to determine possible branch consolidation recommendation to support senior level decision-makingCoordinates site visits with real estate brokers and developers; Maintains running database of all broker site submissions for proposed new branch sites by state; Analyzes all site submissions from brokers and developers to understand and assess market opportunity, competitive landscape and construction feasibility. SUPERVISION Lease Admin, Real Estate Admin EXTERNAL and VENDOR RELATIONSHIP External vendor relationships to the extent of developing and maintaining relationships, negotiating pricing, validating invoices, etc.Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience5+ years of market analysis experience in real estateProficient in the Microsoft office suite of products with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and WordKnowledge in the use of Google Maps and the Maptitude Software (favorably but not required)Strong verbal, written and organizational skillsSelf-starterSolid interpersonal skills with ability to work in multi-disciplinary teamsAble to manage multiple projects at once Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
