Video Sales Associate The Video Sales Associate is responsible for helping our customers find appropriate solutions that meet their needs. They also have the patience to listen to and understand the ultimate goals of the guest and then point them in the right direction with gear and advice. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Provide an extraordinary guest service experience for everyone who enters our store. + Build customer loyalty, by ensuring that all guest questions are answered and all guest needs are met. + Participates in appropriate training and development classes and is interested in developing product knowledge. + Maintains a clean, neat and professional workstation. + Responsible for the prevention of loss or damage of merchandise. ABOUT YOU + Outgoing, positive, enthusiastic, attitude. + High energy level. + Enjoys being with and working with people. + Ability to clearly communicate to guests. + Understands and utilizes basic selling skills to properly engage and present solutions to our customers + Adheres to all company policies procedures & safety standards + Performs other related duties as assigned + Flexible schedule/ability to accommodate retail schedule which includes nights weekends and holidays. IDEAL PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE + Knowledge on current cinema, pro hybrid and consumer video cameras, such as RED, Blackmagic, Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Nikon, Leica, Fuji, Hasselblad, Olympus.Red cinema modular system (DSMC2 Family, Weapon 8K, 6k, Epic-W, Scarlet-W, Helium, Dragon etc) Blackmagic Ursa Pro 4k and lower level Blackmagic cameras, Canon C200, C300II, C300, C100 and lower level cameras, Canon 1DX markII, Canon 5DmarkIV, III, II, Canon 6D mk2, Canon 80D, lower level Canon hybrid cameras and Canon's Vixia line of consumer camcorders. Sony's new Venice 35mm modular cinema system, Sony FS7II, Sony FS7, Sony FS5, Sony A9, Sony A7rIII, Sony A7rII, Sony A7sII ,previous generation models, Sony RX0, RX10IV, RX10iii, RX10ii, RX100IV, RX100III, RX100II, PXW-X180, Sony A6000 series, A6300, A6500 and lower level hybrid and FDR handycam camcorders (4k and lower). Panasonic's new EVA1 cine cam, the GH5, GH4, G85 and lower models. Nikon D850, D5, D500, and lower models. Leica SL and lower models. Hasselblad H6D-100C and lower models. + Knowledge on cinema lenses and adapting 3rd party lenses to specific camera mounts, such as Zeiss prime series CP.2 and the latest CP.3, compact zooms, CZ.2. Canon EF Cinema lenses, Cooke Cinema lenses, Arri Master Prime, Zoom and Anamorphic lenses, the newly released Angenieux Cinema lenses for Full Frame and Super 35mm. Fujinon MK cinema zooms for Sony E mount, the Samyang cinema lens family, also sold under Rokinon, Bower, Vivitar. Lensbaby PL movie maker kit, Sigma T2 Cine zoom and prime lenses, Rokinon Xeen prime lenses, Veydra mini primes. + Knowledge of Vintage prime lenses to current cinema and hybrid cameras as well as knowledge on the usability of current DSLR lenses for video recording. + Knowledge on current 3 Axis gimbals for pro cinema and lighter weight mirrorless cameras, such as the DJI Ronin M, MX, newly released Came TV Spry gimbal, Prophet 4, Optimus3, Argo and current generation most current Zhiyun, DJI, Feiyu, Ikan gimbals. + Up to date on current GoPro and 360 cameras as well as DJI drones such as the Mavic pro, the newly released Mavic Pro Platinum, Phantom series, Inspire series, zenmuse X7, X5s , X5 and lower series gimbal cameras and lenses. + Editing skills in Adobe Premiere and Aftereffects, as well as Final Cut Pro and Davinci. + Video lighting knowledge of current TLCI standards to help customers purchase solutions based on their budget.
