Job Description:

The CompanyGlobal CPG company and category leader with brands renowned around the world.Contract-to-Perm opportunityResponsibilities:Accounting in the plantMonitor and oversee budgets, spending, and GL accounts,Adhoc reporting-Provide managerial, financial, and operational analysis and reports as neededBudgets: Support controller with current and future budget activitiesCapital: Support Maintenance and Engineering managers on capital projects and maintaining asset recordsControls: Work with external/internal audit teams and local management to ensure control complianceInventory: Monitor inventory counts, approve write offs, and ensure inventory reporting is accurate and timely.Management Reporting: Producing reports and providing insights of performance results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.Month End Close: Support month end close work.Product CostingWork with global Supply chain finance and local SC teams to verify accuracy and changes are made where required.Vendors and Payments: Work with managers to review vendor bids, contracts, and make sure payments to vendors are correct and timely.Support other financial and operational activities as needed.Skills and experience:3+ years work experience in a manufacturing/transportation or similar supply chain fieldExperience with an ERP computer system (SAP preferred)Excellent excel skills.Strong desire to learn and work in an operational setting.
