Role DescriptionThis contract hybrid role (Full-time or Part-time) located in Columbia, SC, Greenville, SC, or Lake Wylie, SC involves counseling for families, couples, and individuals. We are a teaching facility and often have nurse practitioner students and graduate counseling students shadowing and co-leading in our work with clients. You will work with our team of Licensed Counselors to provide support and guidance, and evaluate client needs to develop treatment plans. The role may involve some remote work (telehealth), allowing for flexibility in scheduling. Also, some cases may be connected to family court, state, or mandated referrals. Availability for evenings and some weekends are needed at this time in addition to regular business hours. Competitive rate for qualified individuals; there is a pay differential for other state licensure (NC, FL, TN).QualificationsMaster's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy2+ years of counseling or social work experienceLicensed in South Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practitioner (LISW-CP)Experience with various counseling techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapyAble to provide need-based therapy and build therapeutic rapportStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and in a team environmentExcellent time management and organizational skills
