You will be key in identifying and implementing infection control and preventions strategies as well as participating in several committees (like the Antibiotic Stewardship and Quality and Patient Safety Council Committees) to ensure our employees and Medical Staff are supported in their role in Infection Control and Prevention. Requirements: To be successful in this role, we'll need you to have the following: 5+ years' Hospital or Public Health Infection Control and/or Epidemiology experience Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) is preferred upon hire but mandatory in one year upon hire. We'd like you to have management experience Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field of expertise Master's Degree in related field is preferred Work Schedule: While this position is a Monday - Friday, full-time position, there is the expectation to cover call and work occasional weekends and be available in the evenings as needed Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are drug-free workplace employers.
