Are you an organized, strategic, and creative marketing professional? Do you enjoy planning events and collaborating with various business partners? You may be interested in our Marketing Specialist position.This role will be responsible for educating Great West's Agency Partners on our products and services through leading webinars, facilitating in person classes, and updating Great West marketing materials. Additionally, they will manage Great West's communication's calendar through our email channels and virtual platforms.Other responsibilities include:Facilitating webinars and classes to educate agents about Great West.Managing Great West's email communication to external stakeholders.Assisting in events from beginning to end (everything from conception themes, planning logistics, coordinating guests, pre/post-event communication plans, to tracking costs and budgets).Monitoring and assisting in maintaining corporate image standards in various marketing mediums.Administration of agency rewards programs and remarketing campaigns.Role Requirements:A Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.2-3 years' experience in event planning for a large corporation or non-profit.Must be able to travel up to 25%.Balanced knowledge of both event management and general marketing campaign principles.Work with a high level of initiative and collaboration.To be successful in this marketing role, you will need to:Work with a high level of initiative and collaboration.Think strategically but also be a doer.Utilize a balanced knowledge of both event management and general marketing campaign principles.Have a creative marketing mindset to develop strategies and plan for growth.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.Excel in project management, facilitation, consultation, and leadership skills and experience.Have experience with HubSpot and graphic design.Who we are:Great West Casualty Company provides specialized insurance products unique to the trucking industry and outstanding customer service to the thousands of truck drivers and trucking companies we serve.
