Primary ResponsibilitiesAre you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.In the role of Water/Wastewater Engineer, we'll count on you to:• Prepare study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems• Prepare plans and specifications for water and wastewater treatment and distribution/collection system projects • Obtain applicable project approvals from regulatory agencies including but not limited to EPA, EPD, Corps of Engineers, Soil & Erosion Control Permitting, etc.• Have knowledge and experience of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of water, wastewater and site development related projects within the industry• Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple projects with varying deadlines.• Perform other duties as neededRequired Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering• EIT Certification• PE or ability to obtain within 12 months. • AutoCAD and ArcGIS software experience a plus• Proficient in Microsoft Office• Outstanding communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to excel within a team environment.Preferred Qualifications• MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred• Hydraulic Modeling of water systems and hydrology studies• Preference given to local candidates and candidates willing to locate to Lake Oconee area
