We distribute in more than 110 countries through leading retailer private labels, as well as under our own brands.Job Title: Electrical Project EngineerSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmDepartment: EngineeringLocation: Stokesdale, NCReports To: Capital Engineering ManagerJob PurposeThe primary purpose of this position is to provide technical leadership within the Engineering team to support the development and execution of innovation and expansion projects. Provide leadership and creativity in the design, development, optimization and implementation of major manufacturing and supporting processes.Job Responsibilities and Key TasksProvide functional leadership in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and processes.Provide engineering support and capital estimations to cross-functional teams.Lead Design Safety Reviews for major projects.Develop, apply and optimize machine control systems and software to analyze production, improve equipment performance and ensure product quality.Assist in the development of scopes of work for Technical Service Providers specifying design requirements, deliverables, processes and procedures, timeline and verification requirements.Review electrical documentation and specifications.Lead turn-over meetings and teleconferences working across functions and plant locations.Protect technologies and products through appropriate use of patents, trade secrets, and other intellectual property.Engage and communicate with vendors and suppliers.Visibly demonstrate that safety is a value by following safety procedures, maintaining a safe workplace and complying with safety rules.Educational RequirementsBachelor degree in electrical engineering.Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial engineering and /or technical project management.Experience in the hygienic, packaging or food industry.Ability to work with design software (CAD).Project Management tools mastery is a plus (MS Project...).Required CompetenciesDrive and Motor Control TechnologyMachine Safety Systems and Process ControlOperator Interface and Software DesignCommunications ArchitectureRegistration and Inspection SystemsProject ManagementInternational Design StandardsA team playerBenefits401(k) matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceHealth savings accountEmployee assistance programPaid Time OffProfessional development assistanceEmployee Referral program of $2,000
