As an Audit Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing audit engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and fostering strong client relationships.Responsibilities Lead and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries including construction, government contracting, technology, non-profits, and Employee Benefit Plans (EBP). Plan and execute audit procedures in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Review financial statements, internal controls, and audit workpapers to ensure accuracy and compliance. Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business operations, identify risks, and provide value-added insights. Collaborate with partners and senior management to develop audit strategies, assess engagement risks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting pronouncements, and regulatory changes to enhance audit methodologies and practices. Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client meetings, and networking events to contribute to firm growth.Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and assurance services. Strong technical proficiency in auditing standards, financial reporting, and internal controls. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize tasks effectively. Client-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
