Looking for PART-TIME, FULL-TIME, GUEST, and TEMPORARY Certified Pilates Instructors for a new Pilates studio opening in Briarcliff Manor (Westchester County) NY.Overview:Seeking skilled and passionate Certified Pilates Instructors to join our team. As a Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for leading group classes and providing personalized instruction to clients. If you have a strong background in fitness and a passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals, we want to hear from you!General Duties:- Conduct group Pilates classes, ensuring a safe and effective workout for all participants- Provide personalized instruction and modifications based on individual client needs and abilities- Demonstrate proper form and technique for exercises- Create and implement challenging and engaging workout routines- Monitor client progress and provide ongoing feedback and support- Maintain a clean and organized studio space- Stay up-to-date with current fitness trends and industry developmentsQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education (Minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, Chair, and Springboard)Up to date CPR & First Aid training and willingness to maintainComfortable learning and adding TRX, Functional Standing Movement(Barre), and TriggerPoint modalities to repertoireDemonstrate anatomical knowledge and attention to safetyDemonstrated group reformer instruction abilities with ability to modify for different individuals in classExperience teaching 6 or more participants in an apparatus-based group classMaintain open availability for a minimum of 6 hours (2 shifts) per weekPassion for learning and willingness to complete continued education trainings or workshopsTeam playerPleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skillsProfessional and effective communication skills with proven public speaking skillsPunctual and ReliableAbility to recognize areas of improvement and proactively communicate with managementStrong problem-solver who consistently uses excellent judgmentAbility to work harmoniously with the public, management and other instructorsProfessional, Neat, Trustworthy and ability to maintain confidentialityProficient in (or ability to learn) ClubReady software for basic useESSENTIAL DUTIESProvide Pilates instruction (intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training) as scheduled by management and pursuant to Club Pilates standardsMust be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, including, but not limited to, hand weights, Chair, Reformer, Springboard, TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experienceVisually inspect the equipment prior to the beginning of class to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to useResponsible for studio tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by studio managementMust arrive at a set time prior to the beginning of each scheduled class or private/semi-private sessionParticipate in networking/community events as needed to help generate new businessStay up to date with, and implement, Club Pilates education standards at all timesMaintain honesty and integrityAny other duties as assignedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
