Job Description:

Our practice specializes in furnishing clients with comprehensive tax counsel and planning services pertaining to safeguarding tax-exempt status, overseeing the preparation and/or review of tax returns for exempt organizations and their taxable affiliates (including 990s/1120s/1065s), managing related filings such as international submissions as required, formulating IRS audit defense strategies, and addressing other pertinent tax issues. We engage in addressing pivotal client concerns in domestic federal taxation, focusing on implementing tax strategies that harmonize with the client's business objectives. Responsibilities:-      Provide tax compliance and/or advisory services to tax-exempt organizations.-      Collaborate within a dedicated team of seasoned exempt organization tax professionals.-      Cultivate and oversee a portfolio of client relationships of diverse size and scope, serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients.-      Supervise teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects.-      Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and tax project budgets.-      Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm. The ideal candidate will possess tax and/or audit experience with Not-for-Profit entities, including proficiency in preparing and reviewing tax-exempt organization filings such as Forms 990, 990-PF, 4720, 720, and associated schedules. Experience with Form 5500 & 8955-SSA is advantageous. Required Skills:-      Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Tax is advantageous.-      Active CPA, EA, or licensed JD.-      5+ years of experience in public accounting.-      Experience providing tax compliance and/or advisory services to tax-exempt organizations.
