Job Overview As a skilled healthcare professional, the Licensed Vocational Nurse will deliver high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic medical setting. Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nursing duties, including vital sign measurement, medication administration, and wound care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these needs. Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and health promotion strategies. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) is preferred. Experience: Two years of experience in nursing is preferred. Certification/Licensure: Requires a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), with Authorization to Practice in the State of Texas; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required within sixty days of start date.
