Job Description: The Adirondack Central School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide each child a program of study that meets his/her individuals needs, interests, and abilities, create an environment conducive to learning to the maturity and interest of the students, guide students' learning towards the achievement of curricular goals and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education. NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities grades 5-9 or Students with Disabilities 7/12 or Special Education K-12 required. This is a full-time, 10-month position. Salary/benefits are per the Adirondack Teachers' Association contract. Start date of 8/28/24.
