The Licensed Practical Nurse PRN performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Comprehensive Home Care regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our beautiful and vibrant senior Assisted Living / Memory Care community in Naples, Florida. This casual nursing position includes: * Casual hours * Help fill in for shifts ahead of time and for last minute needs Opened in 2019, Amira Choice Naples is conveniently located in North Naples off I-75 and is a vibrant community along miles of white sand beaches. Responsibilities/Job Description * Provides skilled nursing care such as; implementing practitioners' orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operates medical equipment, and charting practices * Lifts and transfer residents as needed * Initiates emergency treatment as needed * Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff * Updates RN with current observation and completes documentation of resident health status * Communicates changes in residents conditions to relevant individuals * May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans Qualifications * FL LPN licensure by start date * AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers Preferred: * Previous healthcare experience * Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine
