If you get a kick out of solving problems and building beautiful world-class software, you will love BambooHR.In this role, you will:Manage 1-2 scrum teams of Software Engineers. 6-15 individualsDemonstrate leadership and patience through regular coaching and mentoring in individual and team settingsConsult with Product Management, UX Designers and Tech Leads to explore and deliver software solutionsManage and maintain your team's execution roadmap, including a grooming pipeline and delivery expectationsShow and maintain accountability in team and individual performance (yours and others) in sprint goals and quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)Participate in department hiring effortsContribute to the ongoing improvement of our systems and processesBe a great culture addition and advocate for our company valuesCome to work, do great things, then go homeWhat You Need to Get the Job Done (Minimum Qualifications)10+ years of experience in software developmentObject-Oriented development experienceMySQL/MSSQL - both query language and database structure/designVersion control software, preferably GitExceptional interpersonal and communication skills2+ years of real-world, demonstrable technical leadershipWhat Will Make Us REALLY Love you (Preferred Qualifications)Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metricsKnowledge of best practices related to data storage and access at high volumeServices development in a language like PHP, Python, Java, or C#, and a desire to work in PHP (7.4+)Experience in React, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSSExperience in developing Software as a Service (fast release cycles that still support an existing user base)A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related degree or formal training in a related fieldWhat You'll Love About UsGreat Company Culture.
