A leading investment bank is searching for a talented Algorithm developer to join their Fixed Income e-trading technology team in New York on a contractual basis.Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.You'd be involved in solving interesting and complex challenges in the financial industry to help their global trading businesses and running their execution stack for Fixed Income (Rates and Credit), utilizing both vendor and proprietary trading systems.This team also develops its own algo trading container and internalization engine, where you'd play a key part in maintaining their current systems and also developing new features.A successful candidate will have experience in the following:Expert knowledge of Java and the JVM.Building low latency processes, systems and algorithms, preferably within the FI and Algorithmic trading space.Shipping code using Agile and Dev Ops principles.Data structures and garbage collection (Zero GC architectures).Building real-time servers in a multithreaded asynchronous system.Feel free to apply if you match the requirements and would like to learn more.
