The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization's cybersecurity infrastructure, implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking and excellent communication skills. Cybersecurity Manager Responsibilities:Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies and procedures to safeguard the company's systems, networks and dataConduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actionsManage the deployment and maintenance of security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and antivirus softwareMonitor security logs and alerts for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents in a timely mannerCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into software development lifecycle and infrastructure deployment processesStay up-to-date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities and security technologies to proactively mitigate risksProvide guidance and support to internal teams on security-related matters, including incident response, data protection and access controlConduct security awareness training and workshops for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and complianceLiaise with external auditors, regulatory agencies and third-party vendors to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulationsPrepare and present reports on cybersecurity metrics, incidents and compliance status to senior management and stakeholders Cybersecurity Manager Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred5+ years in a technical cybersecurity role, with a focus on designing and implementing security solutions in complex environmentsIn-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies and best practices, including network security, encryption, authentication and access controlHands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection and vulnerability management systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze security incidents, assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholdersAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus If you are interested in this position and meet the qualifications, please apply today!
