Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions• Perform QC/Reassay testing on the majority of products/raw materials submitted to the lab• Maintain stock plant tissue cultures in the lab through media preparation & tissue transfers• Perform aseptic technique with a low percentage of contamination• General wet lab bench maintenanceo Calibrating pH/conductivity metero Calibrating osmometero Daily deionized water monitoringo Routine laboratory bench/analytical balance cleaning o General sanitation/sterilization against microbial organisms (contaminants, microbes for testing)o Assist with maintaining stock of QC supplies• Perform sterility & bateriostasis/fungistasis testing• Growth Room maintenanceo Periodically check temperature, light timers, and replace lights• Records, evaluates, and analyzes test data (e.g. physiochemical, biological, sterility, etc).• Learns to perform FTIR, UV-Visible, and Atomic Absorption spectrometry for applicable products• Assist with preparing Non-conforming Products (NCPs) for products out of specification and Root Cause investigations. • Perform Quality Control testing and appropriate reporting in Quality Intranet• Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality control activities and provides recommended process improvements to management• Assist in preparation of QC Product Release packets• Assist with R&D experimentation• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and guidelines (OSHA, Federal and State Local Laws) • Participate in in-house training and safety meetings
