Position SummaryMake sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.The Facilities Manager is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and modification of all facility equipment, systems, and controls. This includes exterior and interior building systems, cleanroom controls, electrical, life safety, mechanical, structural, and waste treatment infrastructure. Responsible for managing selected contractors and support agreements including planning and communicating maintenance and repair to building and cleanroom support systems. Manage facility projects as needed and develop written SOPs to document facility operations along with maintenance of facility as-built documentation. Will supervise the Facilities Engineering department staff and manage the continuous improvement of our facility and cleanroom environment.Essential FunctionsManages Facility support agreements and Contractor SafetyResponsible for creating and managing the facilities budgetEnsure that the facility is maintained to limit the disruption to operation and administration to ensure high levels of comfort and safety to our employees, contractors, guests and the community.Work with engineering to develop, implement, and maintain an effective preventative maintenance schedule.Provide a single point of contact within the facility for gathering or disseminating information concerning facility engineering-related issues.Ensures that maintenance and repairs are completed within allocated budgets and with minimum interruption or downtime.Responsible for all internal work order requests for building & installed equipment maintenance. To be resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner.Responsible for day to day activity of all property contracts for security, building, air conditioning, plumbing, janitorial, sanitation, shredding services and vending machines.Develop budgets and cost estimates required to facilitate project approvalsPlan & oversee construction, remodeling, and repair projects for facility according to required budgets, scopes, and timelineInvestigate cause(s) of process equipment failures, gather data, and develop solutions/improvements.Performs advanced troubleshooting of Facility and Cleanroom Support System malfunctionsResponsible for general safety, industrial hygiene and workplace preparedness including management of cleanroom supply (re-supply) function. Function as Safety EmbassadorResponsible for chemical handling, storage, waste management and disposalResponsible for local, state, federal, insurance carriers and OSHA compliance as it pertains to air/wastewater emissions, waste disposal, fire protection, chemical spills, medical surveillance of employees, training, audits and inspections including reporting requirements and all operating permitsPerform as an active member of the Emergency Response Team and will be apart of the On-call rotation.Create, update and report facility-related key performance indicators to Senior ManagementBuild a relationship with the landlord in leased space and ensure appropriate support for tenant issues, enforcing lease provisions and requirements, as appropriate.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven (7) years hand-on experience in a semiconductor environment with cleanroom operation experienceExperience:Previous demonstrated experience in facility both engineer and management role.Certified experience with building, cleanroom and facility life safety control systems; certification in air and water balancing.Demonstrated extensive hand-on experience with facility and cleanroom preventive maintenance and repairs in a semiconductor or chemical manufacturing facility environment is mandatory.Computer skills in Microsoft, Excel, Word, and Project.Possess HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other general R&M skills in order to complete smaller projects without outside contractor assistance.Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all environmental & safety law requrierments.
