Overview:The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems, schematics, and components for air curtain products. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as familiarity with manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.Want to make an application Make sure your CV is up to date, then read the following job specs carefully before applying.General Duties:Design and develop electrical systems and components for air curtain productsConduct research to determine design requirements and feasibilityPrepare technical specifications, drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics for electrical systems and componentsCollaborate with other engineers and designers to integrate electrical systems into overall product designSelect and source electrical components based on product requirements, cost effectiveness, reliability, and efficiencyTest and evaluate electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standardsTroubleshoot and diagnose technical problems related to electrical systems and componentsConduct electrical simulations, calculations, and modeling to recommend design modifications to improve efficiency, performance, and reliabilityMonitor and maintain electrical systems during the manufacturing and production processStay up-to-date with new technology and trends in the field of electrical engineeringProvide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and other internal teamsWork in ERP system to build and maintain bill of materials (BOMs)Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field as a minimum3-5+ years proven experience of a similar role requiredPCB experience is a plusExperience building and maintaining BOMs is a plusMust have strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and productsProficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant software programsExperience in electrical simulations, testing, and prototypingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and accuracyFamiliarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines is a plus
