We are looking for someone who is passionate about enabling the adoption of industry standard methodologies and technologies in automated environment to build, deploy and report for the organization. Enabling seamless automation of deployment through our NSD cloud platform ecosystem from IaaS to the monitoring and logging of our various applications. This includes managing the day to day build pipelines and standardized system infrastructure and ensuring that our platforms and applications are stable, as well as working to the highest quality possible. Candidates should have clear ability to trouble shoot issues as well as demonstrate effective communication.Duties and Responsibilities:Creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, BitBucket and OctopusProactively monitoring and responding to Application Performance metricsSite Reliability EngineeringCreating, maintaining, monitoring, and securing Azure resources adhering to modern conventions, standards, and best practices leveraging Infrastructure as CodeCollaborate with developers to assist troubleshooting applications and deploymentsPerform and assist developers with Root Cause Analysis for incidents involving IT systemsMaintaining, improving, and troubleshooting internal Platform Engineering systems, workflows, and toolchainsRotating on-call schedule for Production outage of IT systems under DevOps team purviewEducation and Work Experience:Expert at performing scripting and automation tasksExpert with web server technologies, specifically Windows Server with IIS running in a Virtual Machine (Hyper-V and VMware)Experience with Azure cloud resource administration/engineeringProficient with creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines; BitBucket, ADO, Octopus experience preferred.Software development experience a plusExperience with Application Performance Monitoring tools, such as Application InsightsStrong problem solving and communication skills are a must.Strong proponent of, and adherent to, modern processes and procedures: Agile, ITIL, DevSecOpsNetworking knowledge a plusInfrastructure as Code using ARM, BICEP templates and scriptsExperience with implementing monitoring and site reliability engineeringGit version control experience a plusStrong understanding of REST APIsSelf-starter, self-motivated, adept at working within a team as well as soloProficient with Powershell, HTML, JavaScript, JSONBasic familiarity with SQL databases, SQL Server specificallyExperience with container technologies a plusOrganizational tech stack: ASP Classic, .NET, VBScript, PowerShell, NodeJS, React, Angular, SQL ServerWhat NSD can provide:Excellent Benefits: Health, Dental, Life, Vision and Disability Options as well as Paid Vacation Days, Sick Days, Holidays and PTO.
