Job Description:

Kang Haggerty is a business litigation firm based in Center City seeking a full-time administrative assistant. The assistant will directly support the Firm's Managing Member, Office Administrator, and Accounting Manager with all activity surrounding the daily operations of the law office. This position has room to grow and develop with the candidate. Successful candidates will:Be highly focused with a strong attention to detailHandle confidential information discreetlyEnjoy problem solving and balancing several projects simultaneouslyHave a willingness to learn new skills and responsibilitiesCommunicate clearly, both verbally and in writingGeneral responsibilities:Perform general office duties such as ordering office supplies and managing inventory, maintaining or improving internal procedures, and coordinating with building services. Place food orders; schedule and maintain conference room appointments and calendar; set up for conference room meetings; responsible for cleanup and maintenance of conference rooms and kitchens; keep an inventory of beverage, paper goods, cleaning, and snack supplies.Perform various clerical and administrative projects as assigned by attorneys and firm management. Assist with scanning, copying, and filing needs as necessary.Arrange travel accommodations, prepare travel itineraries, and expense reporting.Take potential client callsPerform new client and matter file opening, including running conflict checks and drafting engagement letters.Work with client electronic billing systems and monitor billing processes.Maintain blog and social media pages. Handle receptionist duties such as answering and forwarding phone calls, receiving and sorting mail, and greeting visitors.Preferences include:Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat ProPrior administrative experience within an office setting preferredBachelor's degree in Business Administration
