At 12 hour shifts this is 84 hours a week, with anything over 40 hours in a workweek at an overtime rate. Also included is $157 per work day per diem if you qualify. Contact us for rate information. We offer a highly competitive total compensation and benefits package which includes:Per diem available to qualified candidates HealthDentalVisionLife401(k)Six Paid HolidaysPaid Vacation and Sick LeaveLong-term disability and short-term disability benefitsTo learn more about this exciting opportunity, review the job specifications below:Position Overview:Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Manager, the Radiology Technologist is primarily responsible for taking radiographic images while performing a diagnostic imaging examination for each clinic patient at the request of the medical provider.Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.Protect patients, yourself and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards.Develop and process digital images and utilize the PACS system to transmit images and retrieve results.Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by Physician, PA, or NP. Maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less.Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Report immediately any equipment malfunctions to Supervisor.Log completed radiological procedures. Complete paperwork accurately and on time.Identify and file reports as required.Maintain x-ray room, stock necessary radiological supplies.Request, retrieve and track files to and from other departments or centers.Work closely with the Physician, PA, or NP to receive guidance and instruction for treating patients.Perform lab work as directed by Physician, PA, or NPOther duties may be assigned.Education:High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of a radiology technologist certificate or certification program from an accredited institutionLicensuresCertification:Active and valid ARRT licenseExperience:One (1) to three (3) years relevant radiology technologist experience is preferred
