Job Title: NPI Supply Chain Manager (6+ Month Contract)Company: Global Partner SolutionsLocation: Wichita, Kansas (Onsite)Job Type: ContractJob Description:Global Partner Solutions is currently seeking a motivated and experienced NPI (New Project Introduction) Supply Chain Manager for a 12+ month contract position based onsite in Wichita, KS. The primary focus of this role will be to oversee the supply chain operations related to the conversion floor plan for new client support. This position will require occasional travel to visit suppliers outside of Wichita to obtain delivery dates and implement strategies to improve delivery performance. Key Responsibilities:Chain Oversight: Manage end-to-end supply chain activities for the new client support project, from planning to execution, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials and components.Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including regular visits to understand their capabilities, negotiate terms, and gather accurate delivery commitments.Date Optimization: Analyze current supply chain processes and identify opportunities for improving delivery dates. Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and minimize lead times.Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as delays, shortages, or quality issues. Develop contingency plans to ensure project timelines are met.Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, quality assurance, and logistics, to align supply chain activities with project goals.Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of the supply chain and regularly report on progress to stakeholders.Management: Optimize supply chain costs while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting delivery commitments.Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, including safety and environmental requirements.Qualifications:degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or conversion industry.knowledge of supply chain principles, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.negotiation and communication skills.to analyze data and make data-driven supply chain management software and tools.to travel as needed to visit suppliers and partners.problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Contract Duration:This is a 6+ month contract position with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.If you are a results-driven supply chain professional with a proven track record of optimizing delivery dates and managing complex supply chain operations, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
