Start - June 2024 - On-site 5 days a week$65-$70hrAddress: 2501 Margaret St, Philadelphia, PA 19137More Electrical than Instrumentation - Boiler work, ControlsExperience:- Plant experience, loop checks, installed equipment, installed DCS equipment, equipment interfaces, some programming background a plus - Interface programming background (Very important)- Working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems including control systems, instruments, low voltage distribution, power distribution, temporary power, electrical equipment, testing, energizing, and commissioning support-Foxboro experience a plusWorking Job DescriptionElectrical Construction Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals, or objectives of project are accomplished within established time frame and budgetThe basic function of the CM is to oversee production, audit, and control costs on all assigned construction projectsThe successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with managers and key personnel, as well as uphold AED's standards of quality and customer serviceContinually build, develop and grow vendor, subcontractor and field personnel relationships throughout entire process to assure success of the projectDevelop project staffing plans to include labor, subcontractors, and project engineersAct as liaison between local facility staff and regional team membersMonitor, control and report on financial performance of projectsEstimate, negotiate and procure vendors and materials for project to be managed, as well as pre-construction estimationAble to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal staff, field staff as well as all of FSG's clientsCommunicate project goals via weekly update meetings with key personnelCommunicate complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or any other stakeholdersOversee participation in all aspects of job site safety and adherence to OSHA standardsThe Construction Manager will be present on the jobsite providing construction oversight, overseeing utility work done by subcontractorsProvide constructability feedback during design and walk downsReview Bill of Materials and assist with managing material availabilityDevelop work scope for construction bid documents and assist Project Manager in bid evaluationsResponsible for the coordination and oversight of all construction activities involved in a projectMonitor contractor(s) on safety, cost, quality and schedule performanceRun safety briefings with contracted construction crewsInitiate Scope Change requestsElevate document deficiencies and Provide Planning support to the project team as requires
