Direct Hire Project Manager in Toledo, OH.Hybrid schedule 5 years exp. in chemical plant or refinery requiredBS degree required Project ManagementManage andor participate in capital projects. Ensure projects are clearly defined and accurately managed for on-time, on-budget delivery. Develop project scope, objectives, and timelines. Coordinate project activities and communicate progress to stakeholders. Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial accountability.Engineering and Construction ManagementPerform process and mechanical engineering tasks. Oversee construction management activities. Ensure technical specifications are met and quality standards are maintained.Resource Planning and Management Organize and plan resources for projects and technical support. Manage external engineering resources, as appropriate, per project. Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.Safety and Continual Improvement Actively support building a safe and continual improvement culture. Lead by example within the area of responsible care. Comply with responsible care minimum requirements. Participate in EHSQ programs, including safety training, incident reporting, and safety walks.Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical or I&E Engineering required. Minimum 5 years' experience manufacturing position in a chemical plant or refinery preferred. Root Cause Investigation experience preferred (i.e., Cause Mapping, Taproot, 5-Why). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects).Work Environment:This position operates indoors as well as outdoor setting up to 50% of the time in a manufacturing environment and exposed to all weather elements, heat, cold, dirt, dust, vibrations, odorsunpleasant smells, loud noises, and chemicals.
